An Italian family, a seaside town, and gelato made the proper way.
Run by an Italian family on Bray's Strand Road, Gelateria Seafront has become the spot locals point you to for the real thing — authentic gelato and sorbet churned fresh on site, alongside proper espresso and homemade Italian treats. As one regular put it, "the only real Italian ice-cream parlour — all the rest are imitations."
It sits right on the promenade, opposite the National Sea Life Centre — the perfect stop on a walk along the seafront, rain or shine.
